We’re not babysitters. We’re educators. Nurturers. Leaders. Role models.
We don’t just provide child care services. We provide an environment free from harassment, an environment that encourages each child to embrace his or her individuality while enhancing their social skills in a positive environment. We provide our children with educational, developmentally appropriate programming, encouraging learning through play.
We’re not just a resource for working families. We’re a resource for ALL families who feel their children would benefit from a structured and educational environment. Our program has the means to receive government funding for enhanced care for children who are experiencing developmental or social-emotional delays. We work in close partnership with families to ensure the best possible outcome for each child.
This isn’t just our job. It’s our passion. Our purpose. An investment in our future, so that we can help our new generation prepare for theirs.
We’re the staff of the Vulcan Daycare Society, and we’re looking for people to join our dynamic team. We are certified child care workers, and receive at minimum 15 hours annually of professional development training in all areas of childcare. And best of all, our training is free. Which means that if you want to begin your career in Early Childhood Education, all you need is time, commitment and dedication.
The Vulcan Daycare Society offers a competitive compensation package, including health and dental benefits, paid vacation days, personal wellness days, gym membership and paid sick time.
